This is a Pillowcase Dress/Top that I have made and will be listing in my etsy store. It is one size fits from a toddler to ladies size small. How can this be, you ask? The secret is the shoulder straps are in a drawstring casing. It can be drawn up tightly and the length shortened for a baby dress or can be loosened and lengthened for a young girls dress/top or a small adult top. As shown, it is almost tunic length for an adult size small. It can start out for a toddler and be worn as a dress, but then grow with her to be worn as a top.
It is lovely over a turtleneck sweater and leggings during the cooler months!
Okay, this is the same dress/top as posted on 8/22/10. My daughter wanted one in black and long enough for her to wear as a tunic with leggings (she's seven feet tall, just kidding). I like this one better than the crimson one. Looks more dressy. I'll be adding a toddler jumper soon. Got to get a better picture of it. My next project is "Tailgating" paraphernalia: oven mitts, hot pads, aprons, chef hats. I can't wait for you to see them!
